| With Independence™ details of a client are only entered once. This saves work and reduces the risk of discrepancies inherent in duplicated data. It also makes it easy to produce reports about
dealings with a particular client, particularly revenue and payment history. Since an
internal key is used, history is retained when a Client's name changes. |

The Contract is the key to the system. From it, time sheets are generated which, when completed, are used to produce invoices. All the details are entered once - at Contract level. This includes whether the contract is subject to IR35. | ||||||||||||

We have made considerable efforts to cover most kinds of contracts including:
Once entered, these rates are used automatically with no further user intervention required. Provision has been made for expenses to be claimed either at a fixed rate or an authorised total to be entered on the time sheet and so added to the invoice. This form also allows the input of the maximum number of days or hours which may be worked on the contract where appropriate. The amount left to work is automatically reduced as time sheets are completed. The 'Normal Week' can be entered for weekly time sheets so that simply by ticking a box a normal week is recorded. Facilities are provided to extend a contract (and automatically generate additional time sheets) or to clone it under a new reference and then make minor changes. If necessary a contract may be terminated early and uncompleted time sheets deleted. A number of reports are provided to list time sheet details, contract revenue etc. |
